About Isabel
In Isabel’s early twenties she was working as a bushwalking and canoe Tour Guide in Spain, Portugal and France taking groups on rugged mountain tracks and down pristine rivers. Isabel had the responsibility not just to bring everyone back safely but to enrich their lives by creating unique experiences and connections with people, culture and nature. What amazed her was the power of experiences and how it can influence and change someone’s belief about something, including their own capabilities and goals. This experience taught Isabel that leadership is about the impact you have on others, that your intrinsic motivation or passion will shine through everything you do and that you can achieve anything if you set your mind to it. This is when the seed was planted for Isabel to later become a trainer, facilitator and coach to inspire, encourage and challenge others to reach for their goals regardless of their age, gender or cultural background.
