About Ian

Ian is a highly experienced facilitator, coach, and consultant. His background as a professional actor and writer means he is sharply observant and conscious of behavioural nuance, allowing him to draw from and build storytelling skills. Ian’s facilitation work began in London in the early 2000s and has since seen him work in partnership with a vast range of clients, in Australia and overseas.

A snapshot would include:

– Working with local councils and federal departments to develop Presentations, Business Writing and Stakeholder Relationship-Building Skills

– Working shoulder to shoulder with organisational psychologists to deliver extensive leadership development programs across Victoria’s Big Build

– Honing the communication skills of judges, from VCAT to the Supreme Court

– Designing and delivering workshops to build client/patient service across the health industry

– Elevating the coaching skills of leaders working for Australia’s most celebrated airline

– Facilitating cultural and personal growth for leaders and staff at every level, from corporate C-suite to warehouse across myriad industries and settings, from corporate to not-for-profit.

He is a certified coach, with hundreds of hours of executive coaching experience, as well as holding a First Class BA with Joint Honours from the University of Manchester and Graduate Diploma in Education from International House, London.

The passion and enthusiasm Ian brings to the training room is infectious, his area of expertise and distinction in raising self-awareness to elevate communication skills and leadership capability through the creation of safe and exciting learning spaces.
